This break
I have a plan
and that's to lug my D90 around with me.
This is the kind of food that makes me feel glad to be home.
The kind that you don't have to feel the pinch to consume and it makes you happy.
I call this comfort food.
And I had it the first thing in the morning.
Is it a singaporean thing or just myfam? We love varieties, it's kinda impossible to not have a plate that's meant-for-sharing as the centre attraction.
It can be kuey, rojak, bread.
Anything and everything that you can share, it's all possible.
After a comforting breaky, I went on to meet my dearest.
Somehow or rather, min is getting thinner and thinner each time I see her.
I dislike it.
I really do.
I don't understand how being this thin works.
You're not healthy.
And I don't like it.
Cos I can't tell if you've been well.
Still, I've missed you so.
Min asked what I've craved for the most.
And I said, "Aloy Thai"
The first craving that invaded my mind ever since god-knows-when.
This is the dish that stole my heart
and left it hankering to return.
Butter calamari, you're sucha player!
Min wasn't quite impressed by the Seafood Tomyum soup, but I suppose it suits my palette quite well?
I like it to be not too sour and not overly spicy.
Is it too much to ask for?
But yea, I like this flavour mix.
French beans ah french beans, you've an angmoh name but how come you're excluded from angmoh countries like perth?
Did they banish you?
Such that you can only remain in chinese-dominated countries?
Ohwell, But you did a really great job in showing them that having an angmoh name isn't a great deal.
Being loved by chinese is what that matters. :D
