As compared to min, I really haven't been hardworking at blogging..at reflecting...or even at pondering over what's what and why is that so...

Well well well, I guess being kept busy at work (sometimes) can really be a good way to cope with transitions. 9 months into work and I'm glad to be still enthusiastic about starting every work week. I love how work gives us an alternative to steer away from unwanted thoughts. As work trips into the cells become more frequent, I find myself meeting very different people each day. And I mean really very different, so different that at times I just can't help re-assessing my views on the pre-existing social norms. I don't know to what extent I can share these thoughts, but I know I'm definitely not dreading it.

However, despite not dreading work, it is inevitable that this domain has in fact taken up majority of my time. I see my colleagues more often than my closer clique of friends, I touch the office laptop more often than my own and the places I revolve around each week are mostly within the perimeter of my work area. Ha, sometimes I'm just not too sure if work has sneakily "devour" away bits of my personal life. But then again, that's life you see, and please don't misunderstand, I'm definitely not trying to complain in any ways. Rather, I'm putting this up here to remind myself and also to whoever who stumble across this entry, "Don't let a single domain occupy your entire life." Maybe by now, we should have more or less understood and experienced that having an equally balanced lifestyle is akin to creating an ideal society with everyone enjoying the same amount happiness - a very difficult and almost near impossible scenario. But that doesn't mean, we can't strive towards it huh? Well, maybe, at least by adjusting how we perceive "balance", will do the work?

I don't know, but I suppose from my perspective, I can't function well if I can't find such "balance" in my life. Meaning to say, it sucks for me if I were to know that my life has been fully taken up by one pathetic aspect. I've seen and heard so much lately, about how vulnerable a human being can become when he/she becomes too reliant on that ONE domain which eventually disappears. It's not wrong to put all your eggs in one basket, but it won't kill you to have more baskets right? Okay, I don't how much of these make sense, but this brings me to the picture I shot yesterday with my campervan.

Days spent overseas somehow made me realise how much I love travelling, exploring, and especially doing road trips. As much as travelling and exploring often require us to step out of our comfort zone, I love how road trips allow such experiences within the comfort of travelling in our own chosen vehicle. In this case, I love how campervan made possible a snail-seeing-the-world concept. Though travelling at a slower pace, at least you have everything with you when you visit each destination.

And this campervan, we are able to decide what goes into it, and who you allow to be on it as passengers. If there's this very annoying passenger who's always pissing your day off and affecting your drive, would you still want him or her on it? Most likely no right? Then kindly invite him/her off at the next halt point. And of course, during the journey, there's bound to be some passer-bys who you wanna so much to have as one of your passengers, but no matter how much effort you've put it, it just won't work. So how? Do you just park your campervan there and wait till COE expires? Most likely no too right (COE VERY EX LEH!!)?

So I guess this pretty much reflects how life is like? At least how I view it to be. To me, life has always been like a journey and we have to be the driver; the one taking ownership of it. There are surely times we can't decide what goes into the campervan, like the looks of it, how the manufacturer created it to be, just like how sometimes we can't decide what is to happen in our life, but there's definitely opportunity for you to have a say in how you want to lead this life.

Very often, we hear people say they are lonely, or they fear being alone despite being surrounded by tonnes of friends. Are they lying? Well, I personally choose to believe what they said. Because 一颗没装满的心,再怎么多其他的心相伴也都还是空虚的. Thus, it's highly possible for someone to feel lonely even though he/she has got countless friends.

And I suppose this is the message I'm trying to bring across today - 一颗装满的心. But fill what and how to fill you may ask.. Ha, depends I would say. That's really up to you, just like how you decide what to go into your campervan. well well well... 因为有着一颗满满的心才能让你遇见和欣赏其他更多颗满满的心..

Oh dear.. maybe that's why I haven't been blogging much, cause once I get started, it's hard to stop. Hahahahahahhaha. alright, here to get this off my mind, and I've met my objective. Nights everyone!
