Go with the flow
Looking at the great weather out there and looking around me, seeing boxes sprawling across my room, is that it? I ask.
Will I be able to return?
What should I bring home with me?
What should I leave behind to ensure that if I do return, I can still get by
And what happens if I don't, and what are the things that can be chucked.
Questions after questions, but all necessary for me to plan effectively, to best minimise the hassle down the road. Ha, thankfully I'm on this book "The Rules of Thinking" by Richard Templar. Providing pretty useful tips about the essentials to thinking critically and making sound decisions. Putting them to good use now. hurhur
With that, seems like logistically, I am more or less.. done. I hope.
But what's next. I really don't know man. Guess I can only just go with the flow ~
GO WITH THE FLOW, sing with me, JUST GO WITH THE FLOWWWWW. lalalalalalalalala. Aii..
Just one week apart and now government is calling for our return and fellow Singaporeans back home are on tenterhooks for a potential increase of imported infection. Schools, restaurants, gyms, cinemas and cafes in UK are all closed with immediate effect. Things escalated so quickly that it's hard to fully comprehend the magnitude of change. News of mounting deaths and new confirmed cases each day, and sight of empty shelves, stripped bare of necessities, even raw chicken? Huh?
Sometimes, it's really interesting how human psyche works. Like why toilet rolls, why guns and why are some people so selfish? I understand the need to guarantee our own survival, but I struggle to understand people who choose to overdo it. Will they live well at the expense of other people's sufferings? Then again, these people will justify their actions by saying they are just doing what they deem fit. Rahhhh, if only, I can enter their mind and rewire their circuit. WE ALL NEED ANT MAN NOW! Many ANT MEN!!
Well, guess humor is really the best way to cope with situations like now. Take things lightly, be ready to compromise, and be ready to just take whatever that's left. Literally. No chicken, eat beef, no rice, eat sweet potato noodle, no touching, how about focusing more on looking each other in the eye when you talk from a safe distance?
Whatever it takes, please let all be well and please let kindness spreads more than the virus.
